American Insights’ recent statewide poll of 611 North Carolina registered voters finds that Governor Pat McCrory enjoys a slightly positive approval rating at 43% to 40%.  19% strongly approve of his performance in office while 27% strongly disapprove. A new Raleigh-based polling firm founded by Republican operatives announced last week that Democrat Kay Hagan is leading her top Republican challengers. The pollster, American Insights, shows Hagan leading state House Speaker Thom Tillis 38 to 35 percent; Mark Harris 39 to 35 percent; and Greg Brannon 38 to 36 percent. The poll, from American Insights, however founded a high number of undecided voters. Against House Speaker Thom Tillis (R-NC), Hagan leads 38 percent to 35 percent. In a matchup with Rev.
